I take my mac book pro just about everywhere I go. I guess you could say I'm a little protective of it. It’s kept in two durable soft cases sandwiched between some foam while I'm in transit, which is nearly always on my trusty Malvern Star. I've fallen off a few times and been pushed off a few more, I put it down to the excessive layers saving my mac from a nasty finish.
Anyway, while browsing through a recent copy of the juztapoz ‘zine I found an ad for a company that makes protective cases for pc’s, games consoles and apple products. The designs range from urban street art to contemporary low-brow and everything between, above and below, also, there are masters including Vincent van Gough and Escher. Typically artists contribute one piece (some have more) and it is then applied to every template option. The company aim is to produce “protection with style, not bulk” and they achieve just that. A real benefit is the ability to read about each artist and follow links to their own website.
A real highlight is the recent inclusion of Drak Horse Comics, so expect to find some of Frank Millers work soon!!! (300, Sin City)
Oh and the wallpapers are free.
Check it out, you don't have to buy anything, i'm not pushing anything on you, but have a look:
